At HOSTOWEB, you can use your own IP addresses. We can announce them on our routers or establish a BGP session.
If you own an IP address range, HOSTOWEB can announce it through our network. We announce your IP block on the Internet from our routers so you can use it with HOSTOWEB resources.
If you have your own ASN, we can set up a BGP session and peering at our data centers.
Your addresses can be used with your racks, dedicated servers and cloud servers.
Depending on your infrastructure and network requirements, HOSTOWEB can announce your prefixes or establish a BGP session with your ASN.
HOSTOWEB announces your authorized IP prefixes to the Internet from its own autonomous system. You can use those addresses on resources hosted with us.
Have your own ASN? We can establish a BGP session between your network and HOSTOWEB, with a routing policy tailored to your architecture.
A few details help us validate feasibility and prepare announcements that follow Internet routing best practices.
For IPv4, a minimum public /24 prefix. IPv6 announcement options are evaluated per project.
A Letter of Authorization (LoA) and information allowing verification of prefix ownership or authorization.
IRR routing objects and ROA/RPKI authorizations checked against the agreed origin ASN.
If you choose a BGP session, we will need your ASN and your equipment's technical information.
Activation remains subject to technical approval and applicable route filtering policies.
Retain control of your addressing as your infrastructure evolves.
Reuse your prefixes when migrating to HOSTOWEB, subject to routing eligibility.
